Prude and Proud

Prude and Proud is a bit catchy, but the idea is far too arrogant for me to embrace. I must express a terrible abhorrence toward the extreme use of profanity and sexual elements in our entertainment media. I've already decided to return to classic cinema, literature, and even music. After trying to watch mysteries and suspense dramas, I've given up. Every word, implication, and description contained profanity and explicit descriptions of the sex act. I am an adult and fully aware of real life, crime, and the evils that destroy our civilization. 

There was a time...

    I'm a bit tired of that phrase. 

        There was... decency and modesty are all gone now. 

Do I have to have money to enjoy the Goodness, Perfect Creation of the One True God?

    It takes money to go to college and learn how to speak and write with good grammar.

    It takes money to dress decently and conduct myself as a lady pleasing to God.

        Or does it?

            I can read...I can choose what to read. 

            I can bathe and wash my clothes, iron, look my best with what God has allowed me. 

            I can ask God to lead me...

                to Bible-believing preachers, teachers so I can learn.

                to watch the media that honors God. 

                to stores to find my necessities at an affordable price.

I don't think that God was...I know God is Now, and what pleases Him is all I need Now. 

            

Flying Fowl

 If only I could have faith as a 'Feather on the Breath of God.' 1

    I love birds for their color and music. When I walk to work, they sound far more beautiful than any choir. Birds are so delicate and fragile, yet they move freely without any inhibition or fear. Despite the claim that they have such small brains and are therefore dumb, birds seem to live carefree. 

    If there is a Creator God, His eye must be on them 2 to keep birds safe as they fly, perch, or scratch the ground searching for worms. Birds seem to have no stress or care in this world. 

    If only I could have such faith. I suppose I should claim the privilege since I too am a Fowl. 

    Thank you, God, for allowing me to be a 'Fat Old White Lady.' I would have never realized my identity without the current cultural instruction. 

    God works in His own, perfect, miraculous ways, His wonders to perform in me. As I hope to have the faith of a 'Feather on the Breath of God,' 3 and continue trying to follow a Kito diet, I will be quite content waiting on His will in my life and pray, 'Breathe on me Breath of God.' 4
